The topic of this lesson is accomodation. In this episode you’ll find important questions and expressions to help when you go to Sweden to book a room at a hostel or hotel.
Firstly, the most important question:

Har ni nÄgra platser lediga? Do you have any vacant rooms?
Finns det nÄgon plats ledig? Is there any vacant room?

To say for how long you want to stay, use one of these sentences:

Jag skulle vilja stanna en natt / tvÄ nÀtter / en vecka / tvÄ veckor. I would like to stay one night / two nights / one week / two weeks.
Har ni ett ledigt enkelrum / dubbelrum / trebÀddarsrum? Do you have a vacant single room / double room / triple room?
med badrum / dusch / toalett with bath room / shower / toilet

And this is how you ask for the price:

Hur mycket kostar det per person och natt? How much does it cost per person and night?
Hur mycket kostar frukosten / lunchen / middagen? How much is breakfast / lunch / dinner?
Hur mycket kostar det med frukost / utan frukost / med helpension / med halvpension? How much does it cost with breakfast / without breakfast / with half board / with full board

To gather some info about the meals served, use the following questions:

NÀr serveras mÄltiderna?* When are the meals served?
NÀr Àr det frukost / lunch / middag? When is breakfast / lunch / dinner?
*This sentence is a bit dated and sounds like travel guide Swedish

Some other questions you should know:

Kan man hyra/lÄna* sÀngklÀder hÀr? Can you rent/borrow bed linen here?
Finns det förvaringsboxar? Are there safety deposit boxes?
Finns det skÄp att förvara vÀrdesaker i? Are there lockers to keep valuables in?
*Hyra means to rent (to pay for using something a set amount of time) and lÄna means to borrow (you pay nothing to use something).
Nyckeln till rum 10, tack. The key to room 10, please.
